VetScan® VSpro Operation
The VetScan VSpro Coagulation Analyzer provides quantitative in-vitro determination of PT and aPTT simultaneously with a drop of citrated whole blood. The system consists of a tabletop instrument and single-use disposable test cartridges. Operating the instrument requires minimal training. The user interacts with the instrument through a large touch screen that displays instructions, test status, test results and error messages. No calibration is necessary and the instrument performs several internal self-tests both when it is started and before/during a test.
