Reagents Needed to Operate the VetScan HM2™

VetScan HM2 reagents are provided in a compact package that includes environmentally-friendly, cyanide-free reagents. The reagent pack includes the following:

• Diluent: Isotonic saline solution is used to dilute whole blood specimens and to rinse the fluidic system between measuring procedures.
• Rinse reagent: Rinse reagent, together with diluent are used to prevent salt built-up on aperture.
• Lysing reagent: Used to create hemolysate for 3-part WBC differential and for total WBC and HGB.
• Cleaner: Is used to perform cleaning process of the fluidics.

Calibrator

Abaxis^® provides a calibrator for our customers to calibrate the instrument.

Dog and Cat Controls

Abaxis provides dog and cat controls to run quality control.
