Quick, Easy and Accurate
Tested at leading veterinary clinics and veterinary medical schools, the VetScan analyzer represents a technological breakthrough in blood chemistry analysis. Unique advances in microfluidics, dry reagents and microelectronics have resulted in a system that can deliver quality results comparable to larger, more expensive laboratory analyzers. Integrated calibration, quality control and operator simplicity eliminates the need for specially trained technicians.
Step 1: Add Sample
The VetScan procedure is quick and easy. Remove the reagent rotor from its foil pouch. Transfer 100 µL of whole blood, plasma or serum into the rotor. There is no sample preparation.
Step 2: Insert Rotor
Insert the reagent rotor into the analyzer. Enter patient and operator identification number. The VetScan analyzer does the rest. In less than 15 minutes results are ready for printing or downloading.
Step 3: Read Results
The easy-to-read, self-adhesive result card provides a convenient printout of results and normal ranges for review and the patient's records. Results can also be transmitted to your computer for record keeping and billing.
