iQC is transparent to the operator, iQC checks the analyzer, the reagent rotor, and the sample during each run to verify correct electronic and chemistry performance. The iQC program detects any anomalies or flaws as it pertains to the rotor as a unit and each assay within the rotor being run. iQC ensures that the VetScan reports only accurate and reliable results.

Bar Code: Verifies current dating, test panel type and auto calibrates the VetScan for specific rotor type and lot number.
Chemistry: Confirms and monitors all reactions.
RQC: Reagent QC assures no chemistry degradation due to improper storage.
Fluidics: Verifies the presence of sufficient sample and proper diluent mixing in all reagent cuvettes.
Sample: Checks for and quantifies any physical interferences (hemolysis, lipemia, icterus).
Signal Adjustment: Measures and monitors all optics and electronics.
Software/Memory: Optimizes performance and synchronizes all systems.
