Benefits
Abaxis® provides full medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance for all full-time, regular employees (those working at least 30 hours per week). The medical plan provides a choice between an HMO and PPO provider network. All benefits are effective on the first of the month following the date of hire.
In addition, Abaxis provides a 401(K) plan with a full range of mutual funds and a Section 125 Flexible Spending Account plan, which allows for pre-tax earnings savings for certain non-reimbursed medical care expenses or dependent care expenses.
Abaxis provides ten paid holidays per year with an additional fifteen days for "Flexible Time Off" (FTO)-Combined "sick" and vacation. Each employee receives an additional week for "Flexible Time Off" after five years of service.
Additional memberships with financial institutions, retail outlets, and clubs are available to employees, as well.
